Toothpaste

Fluoride Toothpastes are the easiest and safest way to keep your teeth and gums healthy

Sometimes we recommend a highly fluoridated toothpaste and this is usually related to the treatment of existing dental problems and the prevention of further problems.

For children iot is important to make sure they do not swallow excessive amounts of Fluoride.

Toothbrushes

In almost every case we suggest an Electric Toothbrush.

Mouthwashes

They all do much the same thing: they either

1. Reduce the plaque in your mouth or they
2. Contain fluoride or desensitizing agents or they
3. Do both

They are useful but also if used in the long term are quite expensive

Read the label and follow the instructions.

Avoid the ones with alcohol.

Floss and Tape

We rarely find patients with no gum disease who do not floss or use tape.

It is essential for pateints with complex restorations like crowns and bridges

We will always show you how to use it.

Interdental Brushes and Tepe's

If a Tepe fits between your teeth you should use it.

There are diferent kinds: Sixes and shapes.

We suggest that you dip the Tepe in the toothpaste as it will glide better, clean better and last longer.

We will always show you how to use the Tepes.
